Welcome to the Bear River History site where we invite you to walk with us through the past of this beautiful and unusual village, rich with historical interest. The stories category will hold stories from the past; the saga of the Clarke Brothers, the murder of Annie Kempton, the travelling woodsman shows of the 1930 s with the champion log roller, Willard Jack, and many, many more. These stories will be added gradually as we find the time to write them.
